About Us

Helping women never doubt that they are Valuable & Powerful

Fako Women N’endinge (FAWONE) is a dynamic association dedicated to empowering women and girls, advocating for gender equality, and fostering peace and development in the Fako Division, the South West Region, and Cameroon as a whole.

Through education, skill training, and community initiatives, we strive to create a society where women thrive and contribute meaningfully to sustainable development.

Cultural Preservation

Traditional Arts & Performances:

Our events feature traditional dance, music, and performances that bring the essence of Fako culture to life. This includes regular cultural festivals and dedicated performances such as the singing of the FAWONE anthem.

Women’s Empowerment

Training and Mentorship

We provide training and mentorship for vulnerable women and girls, equipping them with skills in business, agriculture, and technology. Through our economic empowerment programs, women gain financial independence and contribute to their households and communities.

Community Development

Peace-Building Initiatives:

Our Annual General Meetings (AGM) have featured themes like “Under the Banner of Peace Building,” underlining our dedication to unity and conflict resolution within the community.

Global Outreach

FAWONE USA:

Marking a historic milestone, our USA branch launched in Maryland has begun bridging connections with the Fako diaspora, ensuring that our cultural legacy is shared and celebrated worldwide.
