FAWONE’s Vibrant Participation at the Limbe Royal Cultural Festival
On Saturday, March 22, 2025, the Fako Women N’endinge (FAWONE) actively participated in the Limbe Royal Cultural Festival (ROCULF) held at the Jungle Village and Beach Front in Limbe. This year’s festival, themed “Cultural Diversity for Unity and Progress,” celebrated the rich traditions and unity of the Limbe community.
FAWONE members showcased traditional dances and songs, highlighting the cultural heritage of the Fako people. Their performance was met with enthusiasm from attendees, reflecting the community’s appreciation for cultural preservation. The festival also featured art displays, workshops, and exhibitions, emphasizing the importance of cultural diversity in fostering social cohesion.
The National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism (NCPBM) and the Paramount Chief of Limbe, His Royal Majesty Chief John Elufa Manga Williams, commended the participants for their contributions to promoting peace and harmony through cultural expression. FAWONE’s involvement in ROCULF underscores their commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting unity within the community.
