The women of FAWONE America are once again stepping forward to make a difference this time, with a life-saving goal at heart.
As part of its 2025 Annual General Meeting and Convention, the FAWONE USA chapter will host a fundraising event on October 4, 2025, in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. The event is dedicated to raising funds for the construction of a new Maternity Ward at the Buea Regional Hospital in Cameroon.

Why This Matters
Maternal healthcare remains one of the most urgent needs in the Fako Division. With growing population numbers and limited infrastructure, the existing maternity facilities at Buea Regional Hospital are overstretched and in need of expansion. FAWONE America has identified this gap and is rallying both the diaspora and well-wishers to be part of the solution.
A Gathering With Purpose
This year’s AGM will not only be a time of reunion, networking, and reflection—it will serve a deeper purpose. Members will gather in their iconic purple and green regalia with the united goal of raising funds that will go directly toward construction efforts on the ground in Cameroon.
